Deadly Days for Iraq

"Why did you kill him?" "He was unarmed!" "Oh, my brother! Oh, my brother!"

The Washington Post reports over 1300 dead in recent days. The war that began under false pretenses and has been speciously retro-justified because of the collapse of said pretenses is on the verge of spinning out of control.

In other news, the 300th #2 Al Qaida man was captured; Congress is dealing with the White House to hand over port ownership to an anti-democratic country with true 9/11 ties; the President refuses a request from house members to appoint a special counsel to look into his illegal behaviour; and the White House Press Corps has a jovial session with Scott McClelland at today's press briefing.
